Nope, just an observation. Jimmy left the flop franchise and got better just like Embiid will next year.
Gobert has helmed top 10 defenses almost every year of his career as a starter. Hasn't missed playoffs more than once since becoming a full time starter. Had his best success getting to the WCF last year, at 31, while winning his 4th DPOY when people thought his pairing with Towns wouldn't work after his previous season. 7x Defensive 1st teams. 3x All-NBA 3rd team, 1x All-NBA 2nd team. 3x All star. Odd comment. Players who have made just as much as him haven't had half of his success.
Lots of players people love have made a lot of the same money and have won absolutely even less to show for it than Gobert does. Even guys some of you love.
