Maybe SAS doesnt count that as "talking" in a sense of you talking to a friend, he spoke to clear that issue up and they havent spoken since or probably forgot he spoke to Skip to clear that up. The fact that he said it means they don't speak regularly like that

i remember when skip crossed the line with chris broussard and was man enough to apologize to him on the next show.

Even when him and jalen had their issues, he apologized for his part on it, he seemed a lot more reasonable then.

Yep, SAS was always grateful for what Skip did and wouldnt hesitate to give him credit. Then Skip uses it to basically launch his solo podcast show
The fact that Skip did the podcast/Youtube show dedicated to it instead of just calling SAS to clear it up says how fractured their relationship already was too.
