Lol have you actually ever done a job interview before?

Let's be honest, these sports interviews are nothing like real world interviews.

You can be dealing with a player who's barely above a functional reading level. And now with NIL, education and development is the least important thing to these college players.

If someone's doesn't interview well, that means nothing to me. Unless they're just being an asshle during the interview

Didnt stop them from drafting Johnny Manziel. His behavior and interviews only dropped him to a late 1st round pick.
And you think just because they've done it once that they would be willing to do it again? See an EJ Manuel/Christian Ponder type has never happened again and they killed it on the whiteboard

" We didn't get the sense that Shedeur cared much about what we thought of him"

The more of this crap I hear, the more I'm starting to take Shedeur side. Good ish. Don't change for nobody if that isn't what got you to where you are

As a black person, you should be rooting for this kid to succeed whether you like him personally or not. He's never been in any trouble.

I LOVE Baker Mayfield and he's the goat college qb for me, but he got arrested for PI and running from a cop. And while it's not really a "crime" per se, it's still an arrest. Shedeur has nothing like that in his background

He's a good looking kid, that grew up privileged, having contact with Brady etc and has a confidence that he generally backed up at a D1 level. Sure maybe he has some natural maturing to do, but they all do.

From their reaction to being drafted , he just wants to play football.

Almost half the starting QB's in the league is black, all the recent top QB's taken in the draft were black. What's so important about Sheduer?

I don't know, maybe it's because I root for the Eagles and not a shyt football team. But I can't understand why on Earth you'd want a team to spend heavy capital on someone that 1) doesn't show sufficient interest in wanting to play for you and 2) doesn't admit to any flaws or wanting to improve on said flaws.

1) he was a Heisman trophy winner
2) the Browns were criticized HEAVILY at the time for drafting Manziel
3) he was a bust

Where he's been is never fighting for QB1 in his life and playing under the conditions daddy has so neatly and comfortably set for him..

And? At best that drops him to end of the 1st round. He aint the first to bomb an interview. It's clear now that if the owners didn't step in he would have went in the 1st round. Dudes have been drafted in the first round with much worse drama around them and all types of court cases and behavior concerns. But for the owners to collude and take him completely off the draft boards has nothing to do with his talent or ability to help a team win. They wanted to make an example out of him and they did.
He’s mid ok you can’t be mid and suck on a white board do you not understand that? There is no example. Cam ward is way more cocky and arrogant than sheduer lmao

Manzeil was an alcoholic with a criminal record when he was drafted in the 1st round. Sheduer has never been in serious trouble and well liked by his teammates. his only issue was him being too confident in himself.

BTW Jayden Daniels failed the same combine interview that Shaduer did. Thats never been a deciding factor.

Hard Knocks cameras captured the awkward moment Jayden Daniels might have failed his Giants combine interview

Like I said, they were soundly criticized at the time. I don't know how long you've been alive, but the Browns are pretty well known for doing dumb shyt. They're currently on the hook for the dumbest contract in the history of sport. To a black man, if you'd believe it.
