Honestly, in the case of Richardson and Jones, when you have crazy physical gifts coaches want to turn you into a player they never were.
If they see a cannon arm they want to turn that player into a processor who can hit players 70 yards downfield. Elite arm strength basically means you’re going top 20. Seen that the last 20+ years. You either got to have an insane arm or an absolute terrific decision maker who wins Bowl games that coaches can tell you’ll basically live in the film room with them and don’t care about nothing else but football and family.
