That first article was from preseason :comeon:

Also, unfortunately, Prime low key created a Putin-like atmosphere where media was afraid to critique Colorado players. So again wait til the post season circuit and all ties are cut and people can speak freely

Also that scout is a breh I’ve spoken on this before: it’s gotten to the point you can’t even analyze a black QB honestly anymore, there’s too much ‘stay on code’ bullshyt. Analysts won’t speak freely until it’s’s ’safe’.

So you are saying the scouts are speaking good of Shadeur out of fear of Deion?

2 somewhat different things:

1) media (and impressionable fans) are scared to go against the Travis-Shaduer wave. This is a Colorado thing. The hype is loud af and drowning out logical thinking—-oh, until the last game NOW it’s ok for thr masses to pump the brakes :beli:

2) Scouts typically stay quiet all year and let media and fan narratives go unchecked. Then in the post season circuit we slowly hear “buzz” that xyz player is sliding or turning heads.

Ie: “draft analysts” were mocking Will Levis and malik Willis in the top 5 damn near up until draft day :heh: or JJ McCarthy skyrocketing up when most fans had no clue he was even a coveted prospect, bc UM ran a boring offense

I don't think Deion will allow the Titans to draft Shedeur. So either the Raiders or Giants, trade up, or some other fukkery will be happening behind the scenes on draft day. The Titans are probably happy to draft Cam Ward.

This is so wild to me. Buddy is not even that good and if he dictates the team he goes to expectations will be even higher. Plus a lot of fans arleady kinda dont fw him and/or tired of having CU forced on them. Lockerroom and fanbase disaster waiting to happen

This is the NFL, and as great as Deion was as a play and him being a college coach in the spotlight, no owner or GM is going to let him dictate what they will do.

Caleb Williams wasn't able to dictate it and neither will Deion/Shedeur.

Deion's different. He's like the Mannings. Shedeur/Deion has fukk you money. And can make things ugly.

This is a top 5 pick, most teams don't want a hostile situation, especially when drafting that high. Also, The Titans can draft Cam Ward (who they might prefer anyway)

I also think Deion would maybe think about blocking the Browns from taking Shedeur, but in my mind he probably would be okay with that. The Browns are full of talent on both sides of the ball, and have a great offensive minded coach. They just have shyt ownership.

I wonder if the Patriots will trade the pick? I know they were probably find with drafting Hunter at number 2. But at number 1? They may feel they can get a king's ransom from a few different teams (maybe the Raiders and Jets) and drop down a few spots and get lots of blue chip draft picks.

Have to disagree with you here.

No one college player or coach is going to be perceived as more important than a franchise. No way is Deion or Shadeur going to be able to dictate anything like that.

What's the play if the Titans draft him? Is he going to refuse to sign, miss an entire season, and then hope teams see him in a positive light? It sounds "cool" in theory that Deion might have pull like that, but I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell that happens.

Nah Deion would be insane to do something like that. Sheduer is a relatively shaky prospect but he has the benefit having high positional value and being in a weak QB class.

If they say they don’t want to play for a team that drafts them that will not only hurt sheduers value but will possibly result in him having to sit out a year. Sitting out would be a nightmare scenario for his draft stock, and the PR hit would be crazy. People thought the Commanders were a dead end franchise, now look at them. People thought the Texans were a dead end franchise, now look at them. Same thing with the Broncos. To sit out is basically admitting you aren't built to bring a franchise up from the mud and make them respectable.

Eli Manning did that because he was the sure fire best QB in the country and even sitting out a year he would go #1 in the next Draft. Elway did it because he could go play baseball.

Shedeur does that and he will find himself potentially in a draft class with Arch Manning, Iamaleava, Sellers, Moore, Nelson. He can go from the first or second QB off the board to 6th or 7th real quick, and now he's playing behind a starter.

I can see teams moving up for Cam ward. I think Shaduer’s stock drops and that will make Cam that much more valuable

Sidenote I agree that Travis at #1 is comical and another byproduct of hype. McMillan is a better WR prospect, and Will Johnson is a better DB prospect. Travis seems to be getting value added for being a 2-way player, except, there’s no way in bloody hell he’s playing both ways in the nfl :wtf: Stay tuned for my travis thread :pachaha:
