You have to keep in mind that almost nothing outside of the 'classic' anime style sells, and given the competitiveness of the business, not many want to risk that. The only guys that tend to do that are cult directors who could give a fukk less about making money.

I am talking about the eyes which is a distinct feature of the Japanese that they could of implemented in all Japanese characters to reflect their pride
of their natural features instead of doing the round eye design.

That's a big reach to say that if they altered just the eyes to closely resemble the Japanese eyes then they would sell less.
