Loved the movie but hated that future part, what was the point of having crips and bloods, ballerinas and Chinese dancers?
That whole scene was in reference to the opening monologue about different cultures having lore for “others”.

All the different cultures accessed the supernatural through rituals of music and dance. All cultures have drums beats or string instruments and synchronized movements.

Blues is just apart of a tradition from the past and continues in the future.

Asians all over Mississippi too. The only real non white or black restaurants we had were Chinese restaurants. Our Mexican spots were run by white people.

I remember this one Asian chick got pregnant in highschool by a bred and her family disowned her or some shyt :mjlol:

Also we had Arabs and Indians who owned the corner stores and motels
