I just came back from seeing it in IMAX and shyt was mad enjoyable glad I decided to go to the theater for the first viewing instead of downloading it.

Enjoyed the movie but some shyt was kind of silly:
why did ol girl need to be married it doesn't change anything if she was a single woman playing hard to get (I know I'm probably making a bigger deal of this than I should be shyt was stupid to me).
I wish they did a little bit more with introducing the vampires cause it kind of comes out of nowhere. I understand they had that scene with Annie and Smoke but it doesn't really give any real indication of actual supernatural elements.
I was expecting them to do more with the Indians. They showed up for 30 seconds and straight up dipped. Honestly could of done without them.
fukk the asian chick with her over emotional ass. Now her daughter a fukking orphan instead of only having one dead parent.
there was some more shyt but I forgot.

I just saw it in 70MM IMAX. You sound ridiculous
Obviously it’s not gonna compete with a fukking IMAX screen that most will never see it in :skip: I’m saying you’re not going back to the stone ages watching it with a good home theater set up. Otherwise it won’t even be worth watching once it’s out of theaters.

I saw it in IMAX and I don't think its so important to have to be able to enjoy the movie but I'm a movie casual so what do I know?

Thought of something else that didn't make sense how when we first see the vampire he is able to survive so long out in the sun but at the end all the other vampires and him burnt to a crisp immediately? :jbhmm:

The whites at the theater I went to were hyped walking out. They loved it.
My whites sucked :francis:

But despite that I think I give the movie a 9 now. This theater had better audio so a lot of the sound design and audio hit more and I was able to hear the dialogue better.

I don’t mind the music through time scene now. I actually really like it. Now I more so see it as remmick envisioning the extent of Sammy’s gifts/ black music in general and how they can be used to captivate people.

He was starting to burn though, smoke was rising all over his body. The sun was starting to go down and he ran to the shade of the porch. I think the Indians pushed him out of his hiding place and he was literally running for his life.

Vampires get stronger over time after they turn. It’s just general vampire lore

I will say, as a nikka who has never been into the classic monster media, including vampires, this is probably my favorite one, and it was still in spite of the vampire shyt. Everything else about it was just too fire
