@SammyJReacts
Ryan Coogler knows how to write a morally complex antagonist

@OhBe_Won
Trying not to spoil:
During that particular climactic musical scene where Remmick et al. were singing and dancing, I was so caught up in the swell that I was ignoring the obvious.
And…well…exactly.

@kaorrosi
Who’s the first one from? I think I missed a movie
4/29
@joebarr13
How was the character morally complex in sinners?
5/29
@firoz1501
Coogler crafts villains with depth and real motives.
6/29
@EnnufTea
Right I was siding with the vampire to an extent
7/29
@movietalkwithb
He does bruh. I’m trying to catch up to you. Round 2 completed
8/29
@ArielEsq305
I’m still on killmonger side

9/29
@abdulvhad
: need to watch SINNERS
10/29
@paysnnn
Should’ve gave him dr doom
11/29
@heretoroasttim
Okay if we look at Sinners as just a film about symbolism that’s fine but as a Horror film I still think it was bland.
12/29
@rosesfortywild
Every time ! We don’t know whether to hate or empathize with the character. Chefs kiss.
13/29
@_SoulXD
Very dangerous
14/29
@Bl4M3TH3M0VI3S
It’s the dude from Eden lake
15/29
@Sharvissio
Yk what's crazy. I don't think the vampires killed anyone
16/29
@SlanderedOne
Remmick was SO compelling. One of the best interpretations of a charismatic vampire I've ever seen. Everyone had to take a pause and consider if maybe his way was best.
17/29
@alexissTyler
Constantly reminding the people that even “bad” people can make some valid fukking points
18/29
@Jeronimobrat
Facts!
19/29
@MisunderstNomad
There's a reason he picks specific people in each movie, like Chris Nolan.
Also, MBJ mentioned for his role as KM, he actually got into a dark place IRL for the role
- Ignoring family
- Isolating himself
- Being selfish
Wouldn't be surprised if that was Ryan's idea.
20/29
@callumlyal73631
Wakanda was a race war movie
21/29
@_AzureTv
That vampire wasn’t morally complex, he was boring
22/29
@akaProbelmatic
Wakanda forever & the depiction of Namor were shyt
23/29
@ABHISHE25221910
Ryan Caller is a powerful opposition that can beat anyone
24/29
@jamesjonesesq
Namor does not belong.
25/29
@TajuHindi
Ryan Coogler be crafting villains that make you question your whole worldview.
26/29
@ahiran539625
Who's that first one again? I might’ve skipped a movie.
27/29
@RecruitBoss
Killmonger was horribly written and one dimensional.

@kavaRaramkarwas
"A jolt of a movie, Black Panther springs to life with great talent and feeling, partly through something Hollywood rarely even dreams of: myth,” Manohla Dargis began in the New York Times. “Most big studio fantasies take you out for a fun ride, only to hit the same tired story and franchise-expanding beats. This one doesn’t.” With Creed (2015), Ryan Coogler “revived the Rocky franchise by giving us an African-American champion played by Michael B. Jordan. For Black Panther, Mr. Coogler has brought back Mr. Jordan and some former crew members—including Rachel Morrison, the director of photography on his first feature, Fruitvale Station—a continuity that helps account for this film’s intimacy and fluidity."
