Her grandfather is half black and half Filipino per Wiki. Naw, y’all acting like BW with Meghan Markle. Hailee is white, her man white, and they will live a happy white life.

It's funny how mad people get over this dumb shyt. All she said was her grandpa was half black, and you got folks in here acting like she's trying to be Rachel Dolezal working for the NAACP.

I wonder if this is how folks in the 90s were reacting to Jennifer Beals being half black in Devil in a Blue Dress.

Oh, and she can get it too-----I see why Li Broadie really wanted to get byke in Club Juke
full

She's the Asian chick from Babylon that sings about her pu$$y. I was trying to figure out during the movie where I've seen her from.

Sidenote, who yall think was right or who’s side was yall on regarding the “business” that night though?

Smoke or Stack?

Remember one bro wanted to charge everyone full price on all drinks and food.

The other was like “na it’s opening night, let the people pay what they can pay“

Stack had later agreed with Smoke. Edit: (He had a different solution than Smoke though)

It's why he decided to let the white/black girl out to bring the white people back.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
The scene where
Sammie played through all of the different eras of Black music
was really cool.

It was amazing. @Dr. Narcisse can tell you that I have said Coogler is not a great filmmaker, and has not even produced a really great scene, yet. By a great scene, I mean one that the entire movie hinges on and converges into. A scene where the movie does not work without it. Think about Murph finally seeing her dad in the hospital in Interstellar.

That (Sammie’s talent breaking down the veil between eras) was legitimately a great scene. Moreover, if Christopher Nolan directed that same scene (because Nolan likes to have multiple timelines running concurrently)—people would think it was the greatest scene of all-times and shyt.

It’s a great scene.

Blues is important to ballerinas and Chinese dancers :what:
Lol, his point was that great music pierces the veil. Not just black music, African music, but all music.

Now personally, I don't listen to anything that it's not black American, Caribbean, African, or derived there from. So I don't actually know what he's talking about. Cuz any type of bagpipes, classical, Mongolian throat singing.... I'm just not a part of.

I'm not saying it was a great point, but considering how much he spoon fed the audience on a lot of other points, I'm kind of surprised that he didn't hammer this one home.

Wait until the think pieces about delroy and

Don’t worry I’m guessing it’s coming when a certain section of Black Americans try to say something

Who’s mad though? If anything, people are impressed by her acting chops and of course, the pawgers are in here acting like Shameik Moore and creating fictional fantasies of her leaving her white husband for a black man.
