@Majestyx,...

you are deflecting....
who are these artist that are better than jim lee.
that use shading/perspective/light sourcing with actual application in skill better than jim lee.
that also, have displayed a mastery of their styles, and other's styles, like jim lee.
plus, they are known to draw higher than jim lee, in receipts, too.

I mean real talk.....
in comix, you have the receipts and the skill.
who has the skill, that you can say is a better penciler than jim fukk'n lee.

who is it,....name names's or miss me with that passive aggressive deflection bullshyt.

name some names and say why they are better.

I notice you never answered the shyt,.....
so, answer the question....

WHO IS BETTER THAN JIM LEE?

ART BARR

also,...
real talk,...
I had my own monthly title from a publisher as a penciler and another book as a letter.
when I was seventeen years old.
which I could not finish duties on because I was in college.
yet, if I wanted to, right now.
I could put together submissions and get a job, as a penciler or letterer.
so, kill the bullshyt.

also,..if you so cold...
then, that means your page time is so fast.
you can goof off more time on the internet, and still get your quota done.
so, spare me that I got shyt to pencil bullshyt, too.

The 90s were mostly bad, but they gave us some good things.

breh, I know you not trying to critique my line work from a photo.

like real talk,...if you so proficient in knowing how to spot great line work and use of medium.
why do you not know the medium upon eye sight how the images were captured?

nice try to try to downplay me penciling.
if you post your work..
take camera phone pictures to compare your work, like I did.
I don't use digital medium,...
it is a thought, but I already discussed in that thread how my work was put on the forum to view.
also,...if you have such a keen eye.
you would not have tried this passive aggressive try to clown my work.
which also, shows you don't know shyt about hatching, pencils and shading like that.
if you did,..anyone who knows how the images were captured.
could see how they were captured, and not use it as some tongue in cheek bullshyt joke to try to be negative about my pencils.

so, kill the noise...

you don't know lighting and shading or mediums like that.
so, your bullshyt critique of jim lee is just as off.
as your wack epic fail to post my work like it is inferior on the pencil side.
as you don't have the type of eye to recognize or critique jim lee.

you posting photos of my work shows that.

I was listening to a Kevin Smith podcast with Grant Morrison last summer and he really tried to defend that whole Image Comics/Liefeld era that comics heads despise now of the 90s. His logic was that they were pretty much being rockstars of the day and being self expressive with all those out there and crazy OTT art and charactersitics (this is Grant we talking about so if you can convince him someone is a rockstar of their time, you pretty much have him on your side. Dude was and is pracitically that himself).

He also feels like there's some hipsters now that have nostalgic feelings of that era in the same way most pop culture connessuiers do about all things early 90s right now (ie younger fashion emulating all things 91-93 with snapbacks and shyt and house music coming back in mainstream either on its own or through EDM). I've yet to see that with in the comics but who knows..

The 90s DID introduce us to ALEX ROSS..one of 3 artists to EVER respect captain marvel like they shouldve...and to draw superman so well...

Ross was the shyt. Kingdom Come might be the best thing to come out of Comics in the 90s.
Thats a must read.

Alex Ross was a beast...NOBODY could have taken those old, irrelevant characters and make them look cool like he did.

Only dude I'd say is on his level talent and skill wise is Marko Djurdjevic.
