As far as Jim Lee is concerned, I remember he teamed up with a different Inker for some comic name Deathblow. I remember I was really impressed by the artwork.

Totally forgot about Deathblow...that was part of the Darker Image side projects. Jim did Deathblow experimenting with Frank Miller's ink and shadow style. Rob did Bloodwulf which was his parody of Lobo. The Maxx came outta that too. Haha, those were good times brehs.

Haven't followed comics since I was a kid/early teens, I always thought marvel was piff back when as a kid but looking back a lot of marvel comics were ass :scusthov:. Grapic Novels always have the best characters, stories and artwork imo.
Sandman, Sin City, From Hell, Dark Knight, V For Vendetta, Watchmen, Killing Joke, Kingdom Come :ahh:

Any era that produces Jim Lee, Alex Ross, Joe Queseda, Todd McFarlane, Marc Silvestre, Stephen Platt, Joe Maduera, is gotta be one of the GOAT eras.

Native of the NYC, getting fed in the Big D!
Rob Liefeld was/is a terrible artist who had a penchant for avoiding drawing feet, overdosing on pouches, and drawing females without following the rules of anatomy it appeared. :mindblown:

That being said, the 90s were the gimmick era of comics with their special covers for the same book and sensational plots to garner extra sales.

However, the decade gave us Jim Lee, Tim Sale and the like to balance things out some.
