Also, the allies are so trash lol. I finished Chapter 1 today finally (I'm like Rekka...I take my sweet ass time, wander around and do everything before moving along). Got to Blue Demon and fought him one time with two allies. What a mess. Died. Took both allies off and went in and beat him first time. So two tries. Took me 3 tries to beat Ii and BD. This is with the Polearm + Odachi.

Spoiler: Ii decision

Killed Ii for the combat style, then immediately used that book to go back in and fight them again. Using Oxtail Blade I whooped them pretty good in one try, and this time I spared Ii and kept that timeline.
