As excited as I am for this there are any lot of worries I have.

NG games have a certain feel to them that no other action games has. Can Platnum emulate this type of gameplay to feel like a true NG4? Or is this basically gonna be MGR 2 ft. Ryu Hayabusa

I’m skeptical of this. Ninja Gaiden 3 didn’t do it for me and Platinum Games fell off to me a while ago, they’re not the 3D action leaders anymore.

There’s been 3D NG games since the early 2000s. And they are viewed as pretty much the pinnacle of 3d character action games.
