I never thought Ricochet and Nakamura could be turned into losers. Those dudes were so legit coming out of the indies/Japan and the WWE instantly shined a spotlight on their weaknesses and negates their strengths. How does the “grandest stage of them all” do that??

If you look at Ricochet outside of LU, he's always just been a midcard guy. He could do amazing shyt in the ring, but he wasn't a main eventer even in alot of indies. LU just showed us god level booking. They made me give a fukk about Texano's trash ass.

WWE really didn't even book Ricochet outside of what he was on the indies.

Na.... plus other than Willie Mack again and Sami Callihan or EC3, or maybe Chris Bey. There’s just more guys in AEW he can have some dynamic matches with.

Clown Ricochet vs Cage match all you want but based off LU we know that match and feud can deliver.

i agree they are probably in the same vein promo wise, but they had different clout with the WWE audience and with vince lol.

Looks like Ricochet is gonna have to do something drastic to ascend alongside guys like them, but that’ll be a lot harder in this era cause fans have pretty much seen everything.
