You sound simple. Upscale doesn't mean French you idiot

I nice high end establishment where you have multiple waiters and high end liqueur options is upscale.

They'll bring your food out out in stages in any restaurant you go to if you ask
Don't resort to name-calling. If you don't understand, I'll school you: Prix fixe is French for fixed price. The food in my photos aren't even French, you couldn't tell by the "Feliz Cumpleaños" on the cake?

There's upscale for the wealthy, which means a smaller intimate environment where the chef is showing off his/her artistic talent through both the food and wine pairings as well as the presentation and restaurant aesthetic. Then there's upscale for the middle class where the prices are jacked up way high. Think: Ruth' Chris, Fogo de Chao, the place this thread is based on.

If you can't tell the difference, then I can't help you.

Everyone talking about "upscale" and thinking this is upscale are really the frauds. Blowing $250 at a steakhouse because you think its upscale ain't it.

Going to an upscale restaurant that serves a multi-course prix fixe menu is considered upscale. For example, I went to a place like this for my b-day and dropped about $350 for 2. Each course came with a wine selection and we were also served a small aperitif and digestif.

Point is, if you can to a restaurant without making reservations at least a few days in advance (or use the Amex concierge service to get you a last-minute table) it's not upscale, they're just overcharging you. Especially for steak and potatoes.

That said, if you genuinely like the food and the vibe, do you. Just don't make this about who can afford what.
That is not "Upscale" :francis:

fukk you and your weak ass restaurant pics. Dumb fukks like you try to pull status on fools with culture shyt but where I'm from slave owners had similar dining set ups. Therefore fukk the French and they're culture quriks. People used to dine with 10 courses after killing groups of nikkas so fukk them and fukk you for glorifing those cac mannerisms.

Ultimately it comes down to the taste and quality of the food. And I would put a steak 48 over that crap you posted any day. So fukk outta here with the crap.

I've been in restaurants in Vegas where I spent 2bands just for me and my wife for 10 courses in Ceasers Place. I'll never do it again, but trust me I've dined at all levels.

My favorite is the mama put in Lagos though. Shout out to my Naija brehs..
