Their dress code :mjpls:

lol, I’m probably showing my age, but what’s wrong with their dress code? I’m not for dress codes in general, but when I go out to eat with my wife or friends, I never even think to look at a dress code..... and looking at this list, I wouldn’t have a problem getting in

now if I’m going to a bar, the attire is def diff

That dress code will soon ease up!

Wealthy people typically don't be dressing up.

this is a lie, but there are a lot that don’t. It’s also how you wear shyt. Like if they dress down, it’s not noticeable, they kind of just there. The thing is, when some people try to “dress down” they’re really dressed up; bright colors, logos everywhere, coordinated from the hat to the sneakers to the belt.... looking like a walking billboard

Everyone talking about "upscale" and thinking this is upscale are really the frauds. Blowing $250 at a steakhouse because you think its upscale ain't it.

Going to an upscale restaurant that serves a multi-course prix fixe menu is considered upscale. For example, I went to a place like this for my b-day and dropped about $350 for 2. Each course came with a wine selection and we were also served a small aperitif and digestif.

Point is, if you can to a restaurant without making reservations at least a few days in advance (or use the Amex concierge service to get you a last-minute table) it's not upscale, they're just overcharging you. Especially for steak and potatoes.

That said, if you genuinely like the food and the vibe, do you. Just don't make this about who can afford what.

I will never underdig paying damn near 400 for some shyt that wouldnt satiate a toddler :dead:

At least with them gouging steakhouses youll leave full.

Ehh, those are the places that are overcharging. Save for the dishes that include rare/very expensive ingredients, At that price point you’re paying for the experience and level of service more than the food.

Exactly. Idk why the fukk dude that he was flexing with that. You’re legit paying for the experience and attentive service. Now if you’re eating rare exotic fish and meats then I understand :hubie:
