Their dress code
That dress code will soon ease up!
Wealthy people typically don't be dressing up.
Everyone talking about "upscale" and thinking this is upscale are really the frauds. Blowing $250 at a steakhouse because you think its upscale ain't it.
Going to an upscale restaurant that serves a multi-course prix fixe menu is considered upscale. For example, I went to a place like this for my b-day and dropped about $350 for 2. Each course came with a wine selection and we were also served a small aperitif and digestif.
Point is, if you can to a restaurant without making reservations at least a few days in advance (or use the Amex concierge service to get you a last-minute table) it's not upscale, they're just overcharging you. Especially for steak and potatoes.
That said, if you genuinely like the food and the vibe, do you. Just don't make this about who can afford what.
When you do it I better get a invite for pre-opening Friends and Family day. I need this in my life.i deadass be wanting to open a dessert only restaurant lol, serve some salads and light apps, but just be focused on delicious dessert
Ehh, those are the places that are overcharging. Save for the dishes that include rare/very expensive ingredients, At that price point you’re paying for the experience and level of service more than the food.Everyone talking about "upscale" and thinking this is upscale are really the frauds.
