Remedy Games calls out Series S as being a major development hinderance

Devs have to waste time an resources adjusting and scaling for the bullshyt S instead of maxing out the X.
It don’t work like that.

Devs work on all types of platforms, it ain’t series S fault the majority of games are coming in hot and need a couple updates to get right.

You got games running at 720p and struggle frames on PS5 and series X. That ain’t series S fault.

Imagine what them 12tflps graphics could look like without a 4tf machine holding it back.

Stop it. The S requires a different rendering path at the least. Different SKU, more work, likely coming out of Series X time and resource, unless a different team is utilized, which is probably the case in little to no games, even exclusives.

Lots of “likely” and “probably” in this post.

Devs have to work on literally dozens of hardware configurations. Blaming one of them for the state of game releases is asinine.

Majority of games Series x performs slightly better than PS5 as it should.

Series S has just become a scapegoat for some of you that don’t want to accept reality :manny:

Nope it's the developers fault for that. I reckon that Xbox 3rd party games would run better than the PS5 version if developers weren't hobbled by the S.

Series X better run better with that extra power.
