they already backpedaled on the online-only thing, but did they really not expect the reaction it got?
They have data showing most people go with graphics mode and/or don’t care about framerate and NEVER disconnect from online.
I’m sure they know the announcement will cause some twitter fingers to go off, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t really matter.
