And then you've got groups like NWA or Public Enemy that were light years ahead of anyone else for the ways that they pushed society. Outkast is rgeat, but not close to deserving the goat title.

I don't aim to demean anything that Outkast has accomplished. But in the grand scheme of things, they are a footnote compared to some other great(er) groups.

That's why I was getting mad at Runny Ray.

If u don't consider Outkast to be one of the best or even any good whatsoever that's ur opinion but when u try to make out that they are nothing and have accomplished nothing, that's what was annoying me.

and tribe called quest them other groups like epmd and mobb just the undeground heads like them. out kast has had a bigger impact then public enemy epmd and mobb deep.

I agree with this. Love me some Mobb Deep and EPMD I like somewhat as well but Kast ranks higher. And I'm a fan of both Mobb Deep and EPMD.

Edit: I don't think Kast had a bigger impact than Public Enemy tho. Maybe in the south but overall? No way.

Nah, PE was some of the originators. I like Kast music better for the most part but they have never been bigger than PE. Specially when u take it back to the old school.
