the thread clearly says GROUPS son. youre in your own little fantasy world, arent you? the fact that youre even pushing this "argument" makes me not want to associate with you. no offense, but i now see that theres no possible way that you can be objective about history when you cant even be objective about a mere thread title. ive never seen anything like this. its mind-blowing.
why would it be hard to believe that im in my late 40s? i dont understand. and for the record, im in my late 30s.
i never said that i was a fan. i said i liked outkast when they came out. youre taking alot of stuff out of context. i take it that you just woke up?
ive done the same a few times.
and this is the difference between me and you. i understand how to be a fan and still be objective....and vice-versa.
atliens & aquemini were good. nothing to write home about though.
lets leave the southern bias argument for another group. brethren down south dont even hold outkast in the same regard as you guys. thats another reason why im laughing right now.
my point was that just because youre a certain age, it doesnt automatically mean that youre cognizant of what was going on. but yes, being young is definitely a good indication of not knowing whats going on. it sounds like you were in elementary & middle school during outkast's heyday. and while i know plenty of those who were cognizant during that stage of their life, i know first-hand that there were just as many people that werent. things such as this resulted in me clicking up with my lifelong friends at an early age. the cognizant crowd, if you will.
