Is the strong lift 5x5 program still beneficial if youre not really looking to increase weight? Im thinking of just using it as a basic strength routine using 20lb dumbbells for every rep.

If not can someone recommend a routine? Thanks in advance.

brehs what are some quick weight/fat loss tips? i been cutting but i need a little bit of a burst cuz i go on vacation on july 8th, so it would only be for like 3 and a half weeks, wouldnt be an extreme long term weight loss plan, just something to speed it up. any suggestions?
Get on some free calorie counting web site. It will assist you in counting calories. Cut your daily intake down to 900 calories. You aren't going to die, but you are going to be a starvin' Marvin unless you fill up more with vegetables which is lower in calories per serving.

People always tell you what you SHOULD be doing in your fitness routine. How about I do what works for me and you do the same. "You need to run early to beat the heat". I get up at 4am and I'mout the house by 4:10. "Oh well thats too early". "You should get a bike or take a spin class". You should pay for both. :dry:

Im just vain breh. my clothes are tight (and they hardly ever match), my hair is uncombed and i dont brush my teeth. I dont care about any of thats because its dark out and there are no cars on the road. If i go when its light out im way more self conscious.

:ahh:fukked around and used the 85 lbs Dbs for shoulder press need to see what my overhead press numbers are. Haven't really hit shoulders directly in a minute. Been off creatine and protein shakes a month and no losses I can see. Really think I was overtraining this first half of the year.

First summer I've worn shorts in I don't know how long. Even got some dresses on deck for these weddings i have to attend.

Incorporating an hour of cardio before my workouts has me feeling like :blessed: after lifting. Hardly any aches at all.
