I did squats yesterday. I did a bunch of squats last week, 195 lbs x 10 reps for seven sets. So this week, I decided to go heavy. I warm-up a little bit more than usual. Then, I get into it starting at 195 lbs x 10 reps. Then, 245 lbs x 6 reps. Then, 265 lbs x 3 reps. Then, 285 lbs x 1 rep. Then 295 x 1 rep. Then at 305 lbs, I couldn't do it. So I dropped it off at the bottom. I finished doing a bunch of 285 lbs x 1 rep for about 6 more times. I lost count. Then I went down to 245 lbs for 4 reps. My lower back was feeling a bit funny in the beginning and I was stretching a lot between sets. When I got up to 295 lbs., the tenseness was gone but I kept on stretching between sets. The workout felt good, but I was hoping to have hit 315 lbs.
