squatting heavy(relatively speaking) 3 times a week and dead lifting right after i'd rather deadlift 3 times a week than fukking squat
thats cuz u prolly picking up 300 + lbs, i'm not there yet, so it doesnt tax my body like that and i dont do high reps. 5 maxI would be extinct doing standard DLs more than once a week.

definitely not tossing squats in the bushes, and a break is a must. but i'm not a hard leg gainer, seems like i might be a hard upper body gainer (except traps). it actually fells like all the weight i've gained went to my legs. cuz in the 6 mos (roughly) of me doings this, NONE of my pants fit and its not the waist, it the ass and thighs, no homo. i just started to feel more upper body gains after modifying stronglifts to only squatting twice a week, and using that one extra day when i would squat to do direct bicep and tricep stuff.Not right after. Then I deadlift. If you're a hard gainer in the leg department, you'll never get massive quads without squatting 3x a week. Deadlift just don't cut it....
