Been back on a standard 20% deficit cut for a couple weeks, similar to my first cut. The difference from other "specialized" diets I've done (EOD refeeds, UD2, category 2 RFL) is definitely noticeable. Mental fog/lethargy was more of an issue with those approaches versus hunger being more of an issue with an everyday deficit. Probably due to calories never dipping under BMR, fats never under 60g, and carbs never under 100g. :manny: Either way, I can deal with hunger a lot easier than lethargy. Strength/definition is increasing and I'm still losing weight :leon: I'm just one person though and everyone's different. Really, I'm just happy as hell to return to seamless dieting. Them other diets were effective as hell but dat -20% calorie leangains combo is smooth sailin :takedat:

That's crazy cause dude doesn't even look big like that...

size is not directly proportional to strength. But i can see why it looks crazy. Ypu gotta remember that your legs are really powerful (or have the potential to be). I only dead 445 (new max today actually) and people stop and stare. I weigh 175 at 5'9.

Was able to do 385 like whoa, maybe I should stop doing so much volume on my warm-ups for deads for now on.

I warm up like so 135x10, 225x3, 315x3, 405x2, then next I usually try to beat my last weeks max by at least 10lbs. Last week it was 435x1 then today I did 445x1. Then I do normal sets somethin like 335x5, 305x5, 225x5, etc then I'm done.

It seems like a lot of sets but its not. Cuz the whole point of that warm up is to get to my max without exhausting myself prematurely but at the same time making sure my muscles are ready for that big push. Then after i do that I do reps at lower weights.

Obviously those number go up as my max increases.

I know your legs are powerful, but that's still crazy. If you watch the video, dude didn't even go that low with his legs when he got that rep.

445 at 175lb is wild too.

I weigh 167 and most I've deadlifted was 365 a few times. Not sure I want to go more than that though, cause when I repped that I felt like I was going to catch a hernia

I wouldn't worry too much about repping it

A single deadlift puts more strain on your muscles and CNS than any other movement. Don't worry about reps.

I rarely see people that really know what they are doing complete more than 5 reps.

Yeah, i think i was just doing too much volume( 135x10 225x10 285x10 315x6) for deads (unlike bench and squat) , since it takes a while to get my muscles going.

LMAO at people who brag about going vegetarian to lose weight but eat a bunch of bullshyt. bytch, it's not the meat causing weight gain it's the fukking cookies and just because they don't have meat in them doesn't mean they are a good look.
Vegetarian diet is a great way to become skinnyfat
