That's how I've been feeling lately since I started lifting heavy :smugdraper:




Been reading some old bodybuilding books (late 1800s, early 1900s) and it's interesting to see how some thoughts and techniques have changed or stayed the same.
Guys like George Hackenschmidt was like the Brock Lesnar of the day in terms of physique and athleticism (first World wrestling champion we it was still real)

Ehhh.... I mean, I'm still trying to get back on track with my macros since I just got back from vacation.. I gave up on the steak and eggs thing because I know I wouldn't be able to stomach it :gag: But I'm trying to keep my macros at 65% fat, 30% protein, and 5% carbs which sounds pretty keto to me :D. I'm not really interested in ketostix and all that, just gonna pay attention to my body and tweak stuff if I feel like I'm stalling.

leg doms are possibly the worst thing in regards to working out, I almost wanna quit working them due to te 2-3 days after that the doms last for, not to mention the awkward walk they give me........

then i take my pants off and look at them thangs with my boxers on and..........its all worth it

wells it probably because i go atleast what I consider heavy

heres the last leg workout i did, now i have to squat with a smith machine so that may be the issue

squats

300 x 10
350 x 7
400 x 5
410 x 3

lunges (10 steps each way)
30 lb db
40 lb db
50 lb db
60 lb db

leg ext machine

170 x 20
200 x 15
210 x 13
250 x 7

calf press on a leg press machine (4 plates)

4 sets x 20 reps

finished off with:

100 standing body weight calf raises

then i walked a mile home all awkward as fukk

:damn:

sittin down on the toilet is like fukking torture
