I'm a :flabbynsick: breh doing the SL5x5. Started at a low weight to get my form right and just built from there.

I remember those first days when chicks half my weight were squatting double what I had on my bar :mjcry:

When I finally got to squatting (below parallel) a single and deadlifting two plates with proper form and no pain :flabbynblessed::flabbynblessed:
Yeah I feel you. I can easily do more weight but just started with 65 just to get myself motivated and go up from there. Had never done barbell rows so I wanted to start at the bottom with that. I should progress nicely tho. My problem is the damn gym has no 2.5s. I'm thinking of just doing the same weight on consecutive days then increasing it by ten for the next two workouts. That way I don't jump up ten pounds each time.

I do gotta work on my squat form with heavy weights. I've been used to doing it on the assisted machine cuz my balance was off. I can do low weights easily but not heavy ones. Maybe I'll just stick to the machine on that.

I just hit two plates (four plates?) a couple weeks ago. Low key one of the proudest days of my life :mjcry:

You may be alright going up by 10 initially but at some point you may have to resort to just buying your own 2.5s and bringing them to the gym.

There's a plethora of youtube cats that'll get you right with your form (eg jonnie candito). Watch the vids, mimic the moves, then try the same at the gym with just the bar. The hardest thing for me was finding a comfortable position to rest the bar on my back, and feet positioning. I found a low bar, feet slightly past shoulder width and feet facing forward worked the best for me.

Just experiment breh and keep at it...

Will use it sparingly for legs/chest days...my last 30 serving bottle was bought back in Feb. The time I finally needed it, yesterday, and I was all out. You in the gym...it's chest day and you waiting for some scrub to finish his 135lbs. barbell set to be finished and that part of your mind tells you to fukk it and go home. :mjcry:

Which one you cop? Got a link?

Haven't tried it yet...don't want to recommend some bullshyt. It is watermelon flavor though. :noah:Hyper FX is pretty much BSN's No-Xplode without the creatine and it comes with 270mg of caffiene.

one of my gym pet peeves is showing up between 5pm and 11pm. But when you stay up late and spend your off day sleeping, you suffer the consequences. Better now to get a bit of cardio in and get out the house since I doubt I'll be back until Saturday night if nothing jumps off or Tuesday the earliest. Hopefully it's not too crazy yet

I did hike like 10 miles and like 2000 ft running around Machu Picchu. Low key hiking is kind of fun. Going to throw that in the mix when I get back. But I need that progressive overload

Here's another life pet peeve of mine. Motherfukkers that park right next to you. I specifically look for spots with one space between cars. Kind of like man law says you need a urinal between each other unless unnecessary. So I'm getting out of my car and this guy parks right next to me when the other side had plenty of spaces. Just had to park next to me. I was like :snoop:
