What does this have to do with the premise of losing weight?
If someone dieted purely without exercise they would be skinny...not flabby. Losing 100 lbs likely only look flabby due to the excess skin that had been stretched from being fat.
Running around the block has nothing to do with body fat percentage and everything to do with your level of cardiovascular fitness.

Stop focusing on calories and weight. A chiseled boxer can weight the exact same as a skinny fat dope boy with a lean (the drink) gut. Gucci Mane is a great example he didn’t just ‘lose weight’ (probably didnt lose that much at all) . He changed his entire body composition. That’s diet and exercise

I agree don't focus on weight but calories needs to be focused on. Instead people should be focused on calories and body fat percentage. That has a much greater indicator on health than weight. Weight is highly variable and will be different for people based upon their own body composition.

Also you're wrong about diet as it refers to both the type and quantity of food you put in your body. A calorie in regard to food is a measure of the energy a food provides you. When someone says to go on a weight loss diet it means to modify your diet to lower calories either by lowering the amounts of food you currently eat or by eating food that is lower in calories at the same quantity most times doing both.

Well there you go. This isn't about feeling. It's an objective fact that Weight loss is about caloric intake. That's what this thread is about. It's not about general health. You can be generally healthy at a higher body fat percentage too.

The calories the majority of people burn at the gym barely equals a bag of chips
Diet is king for weightloss
The thing you’re leaving out is building muscle burns more calories throughout the day. So a person who works out 6 days a week not only burns calories working out, but they burn more calories doing nothing, than the person who doesn’t work out

That’s why when someone goes on a strict (religious) fast with no exercise they lose mad weight. It’s about restricting calories.

There’s no denying the importance of exercise! But you can totally lose mad weight by just eating clean.
Youll lose muscle too.
