If you mean PS4 games, the PS4 Pro plays all PS4 games. It just doesn't "enhance" most of them.

nah, i mean ps2 and ps1 games... ps3 as well, but the golden age was 1 and 2.

The PS4 at launch didn't support "Blu Ray" movies play back, I have a sneaky suspicion sony knows through 2 generations of empirical data that these machines are not being used as blu ray players, Streaming is big and mind you DVD still sale better than blu ray.

No it's not the same. at all.

2TB with the upgraded hardware at 399 wasn't happening.

But the ability to play 4K blu rays, they dropped the ball on that. Obviously the price point was more important to them.
