The only acceptable approach is to ask what Sherman, Grant, or Lincoln would’ve done. There won’t be any peaceful transfers of power or inaugurations going forward because one side openly declares that they reject the concept. We’ve got that same side saying the plan is to imprison or kill their opposition and rule over an ethnostate with essentially a king in charge. Lot of it hangs now on military leadership being willing to uphold their oath to defend the nation and constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic. When one side of the aisle employs it’s propagandists to call for a repeal of things like the 19th amendment and the civil rights act while the head of said party calls for full termination of the constitution, a full purge of military leadership if anyone is loyal to the nation above the president, and military tribunals for anyone who stands up to him, there’s no remaining neutral for the armed forces either.
