Want to get an Xbox next-gen but if this shyt drops first then I'm copping this along with a 4K TV. 
I don't see how 2019 wouldn't be realistic either. Sony can still realease PS5 while still supporting the PS4. Even when the PS5 is out the PS4 ain't going nowhere. I expect for the first 2 maybe 3 years of PS5 release majority of third party titles will be on both consoles. Sony will probably bridge the gap between having PS4 and PS5 play on the same online servers. PS4 Pro was basically a prototype for PS5. The lines are going to be blurred with this whole generation thing. I'm sure they'll drop support for PS4 by the time the PS5 Pro comes out tho.
PS5 can drop next year but I will just wait for the Pro version, my backlog is too big

If Sony announces new big titles for the PS4 that could be slated for 2019/2020 then I can see PS5 taking its time. But what other big titles does Sony have after TLOF2 and Spider Man? Or just titles period, doesn't even have to be AAA like everyone usually wants.
