Playstation 5 most likely to release next year?

I made a thread a few weeks back suggesting 2021 PS5 launch, in fact I think both will launch fall 2021. 18TF 32GB HBM3 RAM in next gen 7nm+ hardware.

Anyone know what AAA blockbuster releasing this November? COD got a 10/12/18 release date. Red Dead 2 a 10/26/18 release date. Spider Man 9/7/18 and Spiro in September ect.. Oly major game I can think of with no release date yet is Battlefield. shyt spooky brehs. Why the fukk COD and the other predicted best sellers this year releasing before November? November sees the largest sales and especially on Black Friday. Why all these games wana be old news by then? shyt spooky as fukk brehs. Something big might be happening in November brehs I'm legit concerned

these are all different devs that gotta eat. plus people been waiting years for some of these titles. So only some surprise announcement or E3 can tell.

Nextbox isn't coming in 2019. Neither is PS5 really.

Next year is 6 years for the PS4 in the fall so I doubt it too.

I think we'll see it in the fall of 2020....25 years after the Original Playstation North American debut. That's roughly 7 years of the ps4 which will continue to receive support as always by Sony. I could see them announcing it at the December 2019 PSX event to pay Homage to the ps1 debut in Japan 25 years ago at that time.

2020 is too early to.

They aren't gonna rush hardware just to hit an anniversary.

They did a good job building an install base, now they gotta cash it in. Naughty Dog has only released one game this gen. Only one Gran turismo. Only one game from sucker punch. PS4 has a long way to go.

Just going by the stuff we know they at least stil have TLOU2. Ghosts of whaterverthefukk, and Horizon 2 that needs to come out on PS4. That means earliest PS5 can come is 2021.

Also the technology available won't be a big leap over Pro. For a 2020 launch they'd probably have to lock down the specs in less than a year from now. Using available technology they'd just be able to make a Pro+ not a real "next gen" console.

What other expansions/spinoffs did ND make this gen? ND developed UC4 and UCTLL. That's like saying Halo 3 and Halo ODST dont' count as separate games.

Meach desperately wants the ps5 to be as far as way as possible so he can cling to the one x being the most powerful as long as he can.

Literally the only reason Sony had a 7 year gap between last gen and this was because a recession happened during the gen. But now they’re going to wait 8 years,even though every single person and studio was complaining 7 years was too long. Sure Jan.
