GTA v was only a few months before this gen started.

With all these long ass game development cycles they really have no business dropping a console in 2019

The old 6 year generations cycle doesn’t make sense when it takes 2-3 years of development for the big “AAA” titles. They need to slow down with these new consoles until they are actually an major upgrade. What’s the ps5 goin to do that the pro couldn’t have? The games now are barely 4K and VR hasn’t taken off yet. A ps5 next year is a waste of money

The PS4 is making money hand over fist. They have no need to stop that ball rolling for at least two or more years. Maybe longer. Of course the shyt is in development no way it comes out in 2019.
