The Pacers weren't about to f*ck with those Bulls, prolly woulda got swept. :troll:

They were a few pieces away from being a complete championship squad, and Jordan knew it. Cheese eyes ain't like that, he thought they would implode like Bron's Cavs

Scottie know what it is :smugfavre:

Did you read my post? The Bulls were 34-31 before MJ came back, that's far from being a complete championship squad.

Pip was begging MJ to come back in '95

One on one the size and strength difference would be too great for MJ to overcome. But in a 5 on 5 game I'm still give MJ the slight edge as of right now. Lebron is Magic in the half court with more offensive efficiency. He is also a better defender than Magic. Even then, we would be assuming we are talking about prime 29-30 year old MJ that was unstoppable in any situation on the court.

You do realize that the bulls went 55-27 in '93-'94 without MJ. They had some injuries in the '94-'95 season that lead to that start yet, they had a WINNING record at the time, something MJ didn't have without Pippen. :comeon:

Records for the bulls under MJ before Pippen arrives

84-85: 38-44
85-86: 30-52 (MJ injured most of the season, 8th seed with 30 wins :wtf:)
86-87: 40-42

All losing seasons, in a weak eastern conference that was top heavy. He is still the GOAT, but he was loser without Pippen and didn't go over .500 until Pippen's rookie year...also the same year he won his first MVP. Its not a coincidence that Pippen was the catalyst on the court for MJ's success.

your argument with record is factual, but it's incomplete.

The bulls won 29 games the season before michael jordan arrived and won 9 more games plus made the playoffs. So there was improvement there.

The next year Jordan missed 64 games with a broken foot and came back to help the bulls make the playoffs by playing late in the season.

The next year they won 40 games and made the playoffs again. Another improvement thanks to the development of jordan.

It's intellectually dishonest to call jordan a loser when the bulls record improved his first 3 years sans the broken foot year and made the playoffs. The bulls met expectations playing in the toughest conference in possibly league history. Remember with only 23 teams, and 82 games u played teams in your conference more. They had to play the pistons, celtics, hawks, sixers, etc.. 5 to 6 times a year and those teams were stacked.

Also it's dishonest to credit jordan's first mvp to pippen who played a whopping 20 minutes a game coming off the bench that year.

Thank you. You just saved me a lot of time going through that dudes post. He called MJ a loser and wants to credit Pip for his success, that shyt is :snoop: and :pachaha: at the same time.

Also, the length some of these dudes will go to credit Pip and downplay MJ is ridiculous. It's like they want to make MJ out to be some sort of sidekick, I wonder why that is.....

Lol day by day people here get more delusional. I'm a huge Bron fan, but come the 4th quarter, there's not always reassurance which bron you're gonna see. With Mike you knew that shyt was a wrap

MJ stanleys need to fall back, Lebron is better. He's bigger, faster, and more talented. Lebron was born to play the game.

Hell fukkin no. Bigger yes. Maybe faster, that's a close one. But more talented? HELL NO.

What did Pip mean? Kick his asss in what? Certainly not one on one play. Bron is a great player but MJ and Kobe are significantly better one on one players.

Do we need to review the last few mins of this years all-star game? And that was OLD Kobe!

Even with all that said...it still doesn't change the fact that MJ had a hard time winning games without Pippen, but Pippen did not have as hard of a time without MJ. That is still the truth that can't be avoided.

Are we going to act like the West was not tough back then either? Hakeem didn't struggle to get his team over .500 back then even after Sampson fell off and his best teammate was Sleepy Floyd :comeon:

Its amazing that we are willing to make excuses for MJ and not for other players of that era and even some of the stars of today.

Always funny to see Bron stans who started watching basketball in 2000 scramble to come up with convulted arguments as to why Bron is better :sadbron:.

What about the 1s who watched Jordans career though? nikka I saw the up and unders the posters the rings. I saw grown men crying when MJ retired. This nikka Bron Bron has 8-10 good years left and he's still refining his game. He is almost on MJs level now somebody look up the career stats. When Lebron does get the rings whats the excuse gonna be for Jordan being better? The only argument as to why Bron isnt better is the rings. The nikka is a bigger faster MJ he's a better defender than MJ too. What if Bron could handcheck nikkas :whew:

Its hard for people to think that MJ can lose at some things. I always said MJ is the GOAT, but people get upset and start making excuses for some of his shortcomings. Then when players that played with MJ, battled with him on court and in practice say something...they get upset.
