The silence after the explosion and that entire buildup was one of the most memorable things I've maybe ever seen in a theater. Remarkable filmmaking.

I have been insulated from spoilers, so i was surprised to see some of the actors like casey affleck, rami malek (bad actor, still idgaf), and josh hartnett…and i expected to see a clip or shot of Hiroshima, or some of the slideshow they watched afterward…and i’m very glad i didnt.

Its just so ungodly horrific when you examine it

Naturally i've gone on a deep dive refresher on the bombings after watching the movie yesterday. The geological and mapping before and after is just mindblowing

well the movie wasn't called Trinity or Little Boy or Gadget...it was called Oppenheimer...it was about him and act 3 was about him being defamed
