There were more black male med students in the 70s than today. The number of black law students has been declining since the early 2000s.

The problem is underfunding and lack of funding in Black areas and schools. Many Black parents don't have MILLIONS to throw to whomever to get their child in or hire the top tutor in the county to come and help their child.
