I think Michael Jackson had his issues. I think him having children around him was for two reasons:

1) They reminded him of a pureness and innocence. Mike was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. From what I've read about Mike, he was very strong about his religion. So him seeing those orgies from family members who were supposed to be of the same faith probably did something to him. From my understanding, he grew up to think of sex as disgusting.

2) When he was a child, he probably had few interactions with other children that weren't relatives

3) All the holidays that young children adore, he couldn't celebrate because of his faith.

Stevie Wonder slams Eminem for mocking Michael Jackson

In a rare public outburst, Stevie Wonder has criticised Eminem for ridiculing Michael Jackson in a video, and suggested the rapper was hypocritical because he owed his success to poor and black people.

Jackson himself has already lambasted Eminem's video for the song Just Lose It, which makes light of child molestation charges against the self-styled King of Pop.

Wonder joined the fray by telling Billboard magazine that he was "really disappointed" in Eminem.

As far as his experiences as a kid, unless you have had those experiences, while being the breadwinner workhorse of the family and most famous person in any room you're in I don't see how anyone can dismiss the effect it has on someone. Mental illness and trauma is real
