All this talk about Cooper Flagg. He might not even be our best youth prospect :mjlol: AJ will be 21 in 2028. If we really wanted to we could play him too

And then do yourself a favor, watch these highlights then compare them to ‘Nolan Traore’ from France their alleged #2 pick next year. It’s night and day. Frenchie looks mid in comparison and he’s a year older. Euros—-especially non bigs—-get hyped just if they project to be plus NBA players. That’s a throwaway to us.

Traore in French translates to ‘Frank Ntilikìna’

I’ve listed actual lineups no less than 3 times you tryhard sissy. Of course that woudnt be the starters.
The same way Wade, Kobe, Bron, Melo wasn’t the starters but we remember it as their team. Eat the pills ngga
What I'm telling your simple ass is, they're not running a lineup of Ja, LaMelo, Ant and Zion, fullstop. Period. In any situation.

An All-Star coach probably wouldn't even send out a lineup like that, and you think they're going to do it in the Olympics?

You just listed three guards, two of which can't defend, and a PF, who also can't defend, and whose ability to run the break will possibly be severely diminished at that point. Not only is it NOT a realistic lineup for Team USA, but it really speaks to how far from reality you are on this topic. Quit before you fall further behind and everyone else will start noticing.

2k ass generation. Lord have mercy.

Watch highlights this mf says -- yeah, that's about how far the length of your brain can extend to.

There's only one ball.

It really doesn't matter if you have a squad who're more talented, individually, or who can score more points or who have the most accolades. Bringing up a 17-year-old prospect is completely meaningless because they're unlikely to be there in LA2028, and if they are, it'll be in a limited capacity where they won't even get the stage to showcase their ability.

No different to Booker being better than 99.99999999% of the players on other teams at the Olympics, but the role he played, someone considerably less talented than him could've done the same.

France already have their guy.

Now, all they have to work out is all the roles who're going to compliment him, and they don't need 5* prospects for that. They just need players who can maximize the impact in the roles they're going to play. Traore, for example, could end up just being your standard guard, who doesn't do anything special, but if he can feed Wemby to maintain his rhythm and help manage the game to maximize runs, then that'll go a longer way to making the team better than just being someone who can only get buckets.

Shut up nerd. We can do whatever the fukk we wanna do we the A side. Ant at PG, Bam and AD together, cp3 Deron and Russ on the same team, all sorts of shyt thats not ideal in crafting an NBA team/lineup, we do in the Olympics. Why? how? Bc we can.

And do understand, you could never in your life explain anything hoops to me bc you’re not a hooper. That’s why you post so scary and deferential to the international game. You are bereft of talent irl, so you relate to the less talented side :beli:

France already have their guy.
We got 10 guys. NBA champs, all-NBA, all-defense guys. You got a 24 year old and a bunch of scrubs :mjlol:

Why don’t you take a break and come back when France actually qualifies because they might not given the massive turnover they are going to go through.

Dylan Harper (Ron Harper's kid) is most likely the #2 this year to be honest. That guy can do everything Nolan Traore can but is 6'6 240 lbs. and possibly still getting taller. Dude is like Luka and will give Cooper a run for his money at #1.

I think it goes Cooper, Dylan/Ace then Nolan.

2016 won by 30 :picard:

2020 won by 5

I mean…are they getting better? :heh:

The world as a whole is getting better but shyt, it ain’t exactly exponential increase. Countries were losing competitively 25 years ago. The threat level is overblown

Why make just a dishonest assertion?

Nxgga, they won by that margin because they were anchored by the three best players of their generation. Three players who're some of the best players to ever play the game. They wouldn't have won the Gold medal game without Bron, Steph and KD. They literally needed the greatest shooter that's ever existed to pull a rabbit out the hat to get them over the damn line.

There's a realistic possibility they wouldn't have even reached the Gold medal game without those three.

Do you think they're going to keep that talent margin when 2028 rolls around? If France was "losing competitively" this time around with a 20-year-old Wemby against The Avengers, what's going to happen next time when Wemby is basically at the frontend of his prime and there's no Bron, Steph and KD?
