That’s the guy people are forgetting about. That kid is 22 years old. Was an all star at 20.

People don’t know or respect history. An elite PG, a true PG, in any Olympic/all star format is a cheat code. To have Ja and Lamelo setting the table we would destroy teams.
Ja-Lamelo-Ant-Zion on the break :scusthov: Dudes seriously played themself this thread
A lineup of Ja, LaMelo, Ant and Zion would get eaten alive on defense.

There's no way your 2k sensibility ass would rationally believe that Team USA would ever run out a lineup like this. Then again, there isn't a whole lot of sound reasoning to anything you've posted on this topic.

The fact I told you that we won't have a player to match Wemby in 2028, and you replied that Bam "25 and 11" Adebayo will be able to, is really all the more reflective of how delusional and absent from reality you are about this topic.
:russ:Bam is a top 5 defender in the league and 5 time all NBA defense. He also showed his offensive versatility this Olympics and I expect the Heat to start incorporating that into their game plans. He’s 20 and 10 now, and you are aging you can’t see him at 25 and 11 lol?

Btw it won’t just be Bam we can throw at Wemby, it’ll be Chet, Banchero, Zion, and possibly Embiid and AD too if they want to get one more run in.

You really gotta stop glazing this dude bro. It’s unseemly. :hhh:

Rui gave him a quick 24 pts and France had to call in a favor. You ain’t getting that in LA Pepe lepew :lolbron:
It's really no wonder you don't know what the hell you're talking about in here.

:unimpressed:
Give us Frances starting 5 in LA or shut up :unimpressed:

we would've lost,
Nonsense :mjlol: Curry literally played like ass for the majority of the Olympics and Durant didn’t even play in 2 blowout wins vs Serbia and Canada. In fact it was Curry, Lebron and Durant being on some bullshyt in the 4th quarter as to why it was close in the first place. Tatum was literally the second best player at the last Olympics but couldn’t get into a rhythm because he was behind Lebron. Tatum getting the green light and being able to play 25-30 minutes a game and get into a rhythm is a completely different animal. Same with Edwards and Book. These dudes had to become role players and spot players because that’s what the situation required. Tatum is a gotdamn NBA champion. :mjlol:

How out this , if your fukking frog eating cry baby p*ssy French sissies didn’t blatantly cheat against Japan they wouldn’t even have gotten a medal. How bout that :hhh:

Folks would be talking about our product line of discontinued superstar players. Where are they? Where did they go?
They right here fool

Paolo Blanchero is 21 years old averaging 23 ppg in the NBA

Anthony Edwards is 23 years old average 25ppg in the NBA

Jalen Brunson is 27 years old averaging 28ppg in the NBA

Devin Booker is 27 years old averaging 27 ppg in the NBA

Tyrese Maxey is 23 years old averaging 25ppg in the NBA

De’Aron Fox is 26 years old averaging 27ppg in the NBA

Donovan Mitchell is 27 years old averaging 30ppg in the NBA

Jason Tatum is 26 averaging 27ppg in the NBA

Jaylen Brown is 27 averaging 23 ppg in the NBA.

Imagine saying these dudes arent future superstars :laff:

The game isn't played in the box score, so to act like 25 and 11 is somehow indicative of a notable change in ability from where he is as a player is nonsensical. More touches/possessions and it's really nothing to add five more points, it's a matter of if those extra possessions for him are beneficial to the team.

He's 27 years old and we've seen more than enough play of his to know he isn't going to develop into an offensive anchor. If he was, we would've seen it by now.

Regardless of that, in four years time, he isn't going to be remotely in the same conversation as Wemby, so it's rather pointless trying to force him into the conversation now as if he'll be some adversary of Wemby's.

He ain't got it like that.

Yo it’s going to be hilarious if France doesn’t even qualify for the Olympics :mjlol: These cats don’t know that playing young inexperienced guards in FIBA is a big no no and France is essentially going to have to start over at that position. If Wemby had to miss any time whatsoever they are fukked

:laff:Goofball shyt. Bam can score on all 3 levels and is a top 5 NBA defender. If he gets to 25 and 11 the U.S. is more than good for 2028.

Doesn’t matter if he’s in the same conversation which as a top 5 NBA defender of course he will be. We will have Chet, Banchero, Zion, and possible Embiid and Anthony to throw at him.

Basketball is a team game. With Wemby, Gobert and Fornier France nearly didn’t medal. They won’t be that deep or experienced in 2028..

Now are you gonna stop being a p*ssy and give us your French starting 5 for 2028 so we can continue to laugh at you :mjlit:

PG- Haliburton, Maxey, Ja, Brunson, Fox, Trae, Garland.

SG- Ant, Booker, Jaylen Brown, Donovan, Bane, Dejounte, Trey Murphy.

SF - Tatum, Barnes, Jalen Williams, Bridges, Miller, Ingram, Porter.

PF- Zion, JJJ, Mobley, Banchero, Gordon, Isaac, McDaniels.

C - Bam, Chet, Turner, Lively, Allen, Naz, Claxton.

That’s like 7 very good to star players deep at every position. The oldest player on that list will be 32 in 4 years time. Almost all of these guys are established as well, no wild projection needed. Stop it with that lame.

Well we don't wanna see Team USA getting chin checked in LA Olympics :russ: it would be far worse than 2002 Indianapolis fiasco.

Guys have 4 years. hopefully they come up with a plan. Or someone makes a big leap and becomes a truly big star. Yeah I know they don't treat Fiba World Cup seriously, but since the schedule has changed, they need to treat it serious this time. It will be in the year 2027, in bullshyt ass Qatar, but the thing is they need to bring the squad they envision of also sending it to LA Olympics a year after Fiba World. So it could be a great practice to see what's working and make some small changes. If they are going to just send Bobby Portis and Austin Reeves talent again and then next year get stars without practice....then good luck to those guys lol.
Anthony Edwards was Team USA’s youngest player at 22 this summer. He came off Kerr’s bench and enjoyed some huge scoring games at the Olympics, including his 26 points against Puerto Rico. He has said he is interested in more Olympic experiences for the U.S., but no more World Cups.

“Hell nah,” Edwards said, when asked if he would consider a second appearance at a World Cup.

Ant said fukk building chemistry in the World Cup.

Only 12 spots some cats will get left out. If Grant Hill,Coach K and them can leave Jaylen Brown off roster in 2024, imagine come 2028. 2028 is gonna be a bunch of players in their primes and egos.Reed Sheppard could be a sleeper pick as well.
