You can go to college for business which will allow you to learn skills and build connections for starting a businessPrepping students for career paths is a great idea. Making it a requirement to graduate is a problem. It restricts their ability to make a choice. Where is the choice for starting a business? Also, are universities going to change their recruiting requirements and take less out-of-state-students and give priority to in-state students. We are talking about money here. Will OK increase financial aid because trade schools can see this as an opportunity to raise tuition since it'll fall within a requirement. We have seen this before when the Federal government got into the student loan business. Lastly with DEI being none existent, who do you think will be impacted the most?

Trade school can teach you skills (welding, cosmetology, automotive, etc.) and get you certified to be able to start a business

I was in college with folks already running their own businesses. Both my age and folks coming back for their degree.
I with onboard with being against this though. Especially if there's no financial aid being offered to these students. Or at least more assistance in finding scholarships. Cause the college prep better be A1 if they want it as a requirement. Students shouldn't be thrown off to their own devices without more assistance if the penalty is gonna be not graduating
