Snyder on the first Wonder Woman; he wrote the story

So while Jenkins created a world surrounding the character, director Zack Snyder actually cast Gadot. It was his film — as divisive as it may be among critics — that brought Wonder Woman herself to the screen. Moreover, Snyder’s film established the setting of Wonder Woman and much of its supporting cast.

It's quite obvious with Snyder being on set of the first Wonder Woman he was like an assistant director "ghost" director most likely..

The real problem with super-powered women written in this PC culture is that you can almost feel them subliminally attacking male superheroes. But in that focused rage, they miss the essence of what makes those heroes great. They’re always flawed characters. There’s never been a popular male superhero that didn’t have some sort of trade off or legitimate tragedy impacting their lives. But the way they present these female heroes— they just wake up, strap on some heels and proceed to be “boss bytches”. It’s corny.
And how weak is it that in a movie that is supposed to “empower” women, that they have a main character who has been an emotional wreck over a nikka she spent five minutes with over half a century ago?
