Even if they’re not, was this part of the Ariel Atkins trade? What makes her that big of a commodity? She’s a 2x All Star who hasn’t been an All Star in 2 years.

May have been a slight overpay but the swap shouldnt happen if the team is good as expected, and then the 2nd round pick is not something I would call off the deal if this is the direction we're going as we still have multiple picks in the coming years.
Atkins is a really good 2 way player. I think you're sleeping on her a bit. Sky should be a top defensive team easily. We've addressed the 3 point need that was missing from last year, and a vet PG that can actually make passes until we get someone younger.

I'm assuming Sellers will be gone before 10. Pao Pao isn't a much of a facilitator. You want spacing and a spot up shooter she's that. Amoore can drive, dish, and get easier shots for the bigs. She's a bit streaky and her height makes her a defensive liability. I don't think Pao Pao projects that well defensively either. They're both backups to me I just think Amoore is more of a spark while Pao Pao is more steady.
I like Maddy Westbeld too. A whole lot

Slight? I’m not sleeping on her. It’s one thing to trade the 3rd overall pick for a former All Star. It’s another to also include a first round swap in THAT particular draft that only benefits Washington. Like what was the reason for it? If the Sky still sucks 2 years from now, we miss out on Juju and/or Hildago, and Angel/Cardoso might want out by then too. Then we have nothing to build from.

I remember during the season when I said Angel needed to be used more like a point forward and mfs kept saying she isn’t built for that I kept telling them she just never had the opportunity in college but she could do it. Also I’m happy to see her more confident in her shot that’s all she was lacking I told you mfs.
