Having Soni also would of been nice but again, it's looking like Jeff wants to go with the proven player and win asap. If we had a core of Angel/Kamilla/Soni, FAs next year may see us as a long term rebuilding team and not consider us. With this move and the new facility opening up, that should make us more attractive

Since you're riding for Carter, why nobody rushing to sign her ? Shes clearly talented enough to be in the league. Why no teams rushing to sign one of the most explosive guards in the league?

I'm now hoping Miles decides to go back 1 more year lol.

After calming down, the pick swap is whatever because we most definitely should be better than Washington in 2027, and we were never going to get Juju or Hidalgo anyway with the team we should have by 2027.

Not having Soni on a rookie deal sucks but it looks like we want to win within the next few years.

Pick 10 may have to be Pao Pao. Not the best of passers currently, but she can shoot and obviously has a good connection with Kamilla. Would rather have her than another 5'6 guard like Amoore.

You never know how things will pan out for 2027. No way am I giving up the chance to get Juju even if it's slim.

Only way the trade makes sense is if they know for a fact Miles is staying and Citron goes to Seattle. After the game Sonia just had she seemed like the perfect fit so if she's gone I get it. They could've just traded down in that case and moved pick 3 for a 1st in 2027 since that's the draft with more talent.

Might have to take Amoore at 10.

She's still a high end role player who is getting bumped up in a weak draft. If Flau'jae and some other big names came out this year she'd fall into the proper range for her ability which is the pick 6-10. Going #3 to Chicago was based on fit/need because they can't take Malonga, Morrow, or Kiki.

I love her game but I think she'd be best with a winning team because she's not a franchise player you build around. The Liberty at 7 would be great for her.

Who knows what Washington will do. She may not go top 5.

No to Amoore. No more 5'6 point guards. We just finished with Dana, and we still have Jefferson lol. If we're drafting a PG at 10 maybe Sellers is there, or have Pao Pao reunite with Kamilla. But also as you pointed out, we need a backup big for Angel with Izzy gone. I like Maddy Westbeld in that case.

We still have picks 16 and 22 this year as well

You didn't mention that including in trade is 2027 first pick swap with the Mystics and a 2027 2nd round pick. This pretty much takes the Sky out of the running for Juju if they are still awful a couple of years from now.
