This season was based on the first two books which were just a collection of short stories. Next season starts the full novels which follow a single plot.

Yeah they used this season to develop the characters and world, a whole season of exposition basically.

The author also settled his lawsuit with CD Projekt Red so we gonna get more video games... Maybe even more books, WE ON BRUHS!!!
CDPR said they're releasing two AAA games by 2021 so one is Cyberpunk and the other might be the rumored "The Last Witcher" with Ciri as the protagonist.
I ain't played in years since I beat it and the DLC and my backlog is so crazy I doubt I'll ever revisit it....but I have seen people streaming it on Youtube the last few days.

I hope the rumors are true. I LOVED playing as Ciri in TW3. She`s much faster than Geralt. She might be in Cyberpunk DLC or as a easter egg
