It was cool, but I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. At least the black characters weren't buffoons and clowns like in the series and it didn't go too overboard with thelike I was expecting. In fact, there's one scene a lot of eye-talians won't like.

Vera Farmiga killed this, it was scary how she channeled Livia, the girl playing Janice also looked A LOT like her, amazing casting all around, the more reason I wish this was a miniseries instead.

I'll echo many others here; this should've been a limited series. It feels like David Chase wrote an interesting backstory for dikkie Moltisanti, but HBO told him the only way they'd give him the green light is if he shoehorned in all these Sopranos references.
It was never gonna be as great as the show without Gandolfini. But it was at least good because of Nivola as dikkie.
