Just finished it, fukking loved it.

S1 is one of my favorite seasons ever ever and while I wouldn't say this hit AS hard, it kept the same level - not necessarily on some horror shyt but just characterization. S1 was about a dysfunctional family so I, and I think a lot of others, related to it a bit more.

This was a love story, to be fair Mike Flanagan always promoted it as a lovestory; Netflix pumped up the horror in the trailers.

Episode 8 might be my favorite of the season this ep and ep 5 are clearly the standouts.

1st season I would give a 10
2nd season I would give an 8.5
