They're not bigots, it's being done for legit security reasons considering these refugees aren't being properly screened, but once the refugees are in the country it is unconstitutional to prevent them from entering particular states.

Where do you get the bullshyt idea that "these refugees aren't being properly screened"? The screening process for refugees coming into America is extensive and takes more than a year.

For refugees from Syria and similar countries, however, the process can span two years, a spokesperson for the State Department told the Voice of America in September. Experts confirmed that two years is the average review duration for Syrian refugees, which means that some wait even longer.

"It can actually take almost three years. (Bush) is being optimistic," said Lavinia Limón, the president of the advocacy group, the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants. "The process for refugees is the most extensive security screening we have for visitors. It’s easier to come in as a tourist, a student, a businessman."

Which, of course, is part of the reason why this statistic is true:

Tsarnaev brothers came through the refugee program :yeshrug:

Though the bigger red flag in their situation was that Russian intelligence clearly stated they were potential terrorists.

Uh, first off, they didn't come through the refugee program. Their dad brought them to the United States on tourist visas, and later on they applied for asylum while they were already living in America.

Second of all, the brothers were 8 and 15 years old when they came. They weren't even thinking about being terrorists.

After they went to American high schools, took up boxing in America, one married an American, even became US citizens...THEN they got radicalized. As Americans, not as already-radicalized refugees.

And Russian intelligence decided that they were "potential terrorists" more than a decade after they moved to America, based on their communication and travels FROM AMERICA, not based on anything they had ever done beforehand.

The radicalization of the Tsarnaev brothers doesn't have shyt to do with how we screen the refugee program, it's about how we sometimes fail to assimilate immigrant kids who are already living within our own borders, and how we monitor our own citizens who are in communication with terrorist elements.

Are you saying killers in the name of jihad can never infiltrate an American refugee program? :patrice:

Report: al Qaeda Terrorists Entered United States Through Refugee Program

Report: al Qaeda Terrorists Entered United States Through Refugee Program

As @thedankster posted, to date it has never been done:
How do Syrian refugees get into the U.S.? - CNNPolitics.com
How a refugee gets to America, explained by an actual refugee

Not to mention you moved the goalpost AGAIN. Now we're talking about "killers in the name of Jihad." At least keep it consistent. Word to Jay.

What exactly are you afraid of? Being blown up? You're not afraid to go to sleep at night with white supremacists in this country so what now? Two thousand individuals on the terrorist watch group have been able to buy guns over the past decade. Are you afraid of that too? Would you like more gun control? :heh:

I don't get this fake outrage about trying to protect American lives. The best way is by honoring the refugee program, opening the program for more refugees, and combatting the propaganda that ISIS is recruiting on. It's like you guys don't understand that in addition to the physical fight on the ground, you're also fighting the message that ISIS is relaying about America being xenophobic and the enemies of muslims. You guys make the perfect pitch for ISIS recruits. Congrats!

The refugees are fleeing these murderous fukks you dumbass governors

Furthermore, play a key role in fostering the destruction of an entire country and then refuse the refugees entrance to resettle :ahh:
Shoot, let them come. People are quick to forget the past, like the Germans ain't merk millions like the French didn't do the same thing, same as the white Americans. I'm all for minorities of the world getting their fair due for a better opportunity and I'm quick to rub it in a racist's face too

So what you're saying is that America gave them the tools and culture necessary to foster an environment where they could be radicalized. Thats great. I wonder how many more will go down that path when they realize how much information is available to them in a free society versus their previous dictatorships. Anyway, I'm not anti-refugee so I won't argue with you. I just hope they can figure out a way to truly weed out the shyt heads.
