How? He has no game changing variables like Symmetra spawn beacon or mercy revive. He's the most basic support character

Movement speed, AoE healing, crowd control and mitigation. He's super evasive too. He ain't the GOAT but ain't basic either. I feel all the supports are viable, it just depends on team comp.

because he's an extremely mobile healer with good survivability, damage and a knock back. Go look up any overwatch hero rank list and he's literally always listed as overpowered. Dude is just uber powerful I don't know how you don't see that if you've put any real time into the game

theirs no ranked play yet.. As said earlier, McCree shines in public games because they arent as organized. A slow 200 health hero who relies on being up close isnt gonna last against good players.. He might drop 1 player at best but he can only bring tanks down to 300 life with his combo + good teams with good defenses, he'll have no way to get close. We havnt seen great players yet(im talking competitive players).. A great defensive hero like Junkrat or Widowmaker will never let a mccree get close enough to be effective.

Public games are NO WHERE near as organized as rank games
