First off, you're a fukking idiot for coming in spelling his name phonetically (and then not using the phonetic alphabet). His name is Michael-- or by your own admission Michele --so all that Miguele shyt should've been an aside. Throw it in parentheses and keep it moving. You ethered yourself there and then.

Secondly, you say you're writing it Miguele because Michele is too feminine and you didn't want to disrespect him. How much more disrespectful can you get than refusing to use his name and saying it's a bytches name anyway.

Then you say you're doing it to educate people. Y'know, because you're so smart n shyt. You don't educate people by misspelling something and then perpetuate the situation by continuing to do so. You spell it correctly, explain the pronunciation variations, and then continue to spell it correctly. If people don't pronounce it correctly thereafter that's on them. You're making yourself look like a smart dumb motherfukker.

Finally, have you considered that his name is Michael and it's just being pronounced by the Sicilian locals as it would be for them? Similar to how someone called David is likely to have their name pronounced differently if they're in Spain, or France, etc.

It's should be spelt James Pond because British people pronounce their B's as P's. :russ:

Nah nikka, we can't let them mispronounce it. We gotta pound it home. Most of the posters here didn't even pay attention to how Sicilians pronounced it, then they actually brought Spanish into the discussion which was bizzare af. That shows that we needed a more stringent teaching approach for the brehs.

nikkas will now pay more attention to the Sicilian speaking scenes, which is good. His name sounds way better in Sicilian. The thread was a success.

Homie, I guarantee you they won't. In fact, I bet the only reason they'll pay more attention to those scenes is to laugh when they think of this thread. no one is going to stop calling him Michael or say "well, the Sicilians would say it this way so that's how I'll say it"

Johnny the singer was a real man, he was so loved by Vito that he sent Tom out the next morning to handle his situation. Think about this for second , he had a million dollar horse murked in the late 40s for this man . Johnny was a stand up guy who sat in real mob deals in Vegas .
