Michael in Italy is Michele (same as Thomas is Tomasso, or Johnny is Giovanni, or Jack/Jackie is Giacomo)

Michele in Southern Italian pronunciation is with a G instead of C...there's like 30 different dialects of Italian spoke within the country

However, they still write the name as Michele not "Miguele"
